# Generic adapter

Load `AGENTS.md`, `method.yaml`, relevant policies and templates into the agent/project instruction surface supported by your tool.

If the tool supports hierarchical repository instructions, keep this pack at the project root and add local overlays in subdirectories without modifying the canonical files.

The adapter must not weaken stop/escalation conditions silently.
